Are you the kind of person who feels like their life is busy enough and that there is simply no time to spare so that you can work out in addition to everything else you do? But on the flip side of things, really appreciate the need to work out and would love to if you could? Have you considered working out from home? Although you won’t get the camaraderie often associated with attending a gym class or the use of various machines, by working out at home you will be better able to fit it into your schedule.
We know what you’re probably thinking, because it’s something we’ve all considered. At home exercise machines are not really designed for the home. They are too big and cumbersome. Well, that was how things were in the past, and particularly before Bowflex started designing fitness equipment. Now, that is no longer a valid excuse for not considering a piece of home equipment like the Bowflex LateralX LX3, for instance.
Let’s see why.
For more than 30 years now, Bowflex have been one of the industry’s leading brands. Always pushing boundaries and innovating their machines to meet the ever-evolving needs and demands of their customers. When you find a piece of kit, like the LateralX LX3 with the Bowflex name on it, you can be sure that a lot of effort and time has gone into its design and creation.
Like the LX5 that came after it, this has one key unique selling point and that’s the lateral range it offers. This enables you to move more naturally, as you would when you weren’t on an exercise machine. The thought is that not only does this reduce impact on your muscles and bones, but also engages more muscles with great efficiency. That’s not all we like about this machine, though, as there are two different sets of hand grips which is not just for comfort but helps you to engage with an even wider range of muscles, depending on your needs for a particular workout and day. Let’s delve a little deeper into the features.
Move Better With 3 Different Movements
You can move more realistically on this machine, with three different movements, such as side to side to side, push and pull and, stand and squat. This can help you to tighten and tone your body, engaging your muscles much more effectively which means you don’t even need to work out as long on this machine as others, for the same results as others.
Two Sets of Hand Grips For Even More Versatility and Muscle Engagement
Alongside the three different styles of motion you can perform with this machine, you also have the choice of two sets of hand grips. This can further intensify your workouts and offers greater versatility still. With the stationary grips you can focus more on your lower body, whereas the moving larger grips can help you to benefit from a full body workout, all on the same machine.
Adjustable Resistance and Pre-Installed Workouts
You never need to feel bored using the LateralX LX3, as there are many options to tweak and adjust your workouts so that they are as challenging or as relaxing as you need at any given moment. You can select through 8 different levels of resistance, which may not sound like much, but trust us, if you can get to the highest level, you are doing well. Additionally, there are 7 pre-installed workout programs to follow and 30 full-length workout videos (available via the app). All of this adds value to an already excellent machine.

It can provide a versatile workout for anyone looking to exercise using it regularly that doesn’t want to get bored too easily. From one day to the next, the experience on this machine can be very different, depending on the motion you wish to work out using and what you set the adjustable settings to.
